I'm Shariar Kabir, a Researcher at the School of Computing,
University of Portsmouth, where I work on the Horizon Europe XTRUST
6G project — developing next-generation Zero Trust Architecture systems
for secure 6G networks.
I hold an MSc in Cyber Security and Forensics (Distinction) from the
University of Portsmouth and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from
Daffodil International University. My research spans AI-powered security systems, deepfake
detection, and building infrastructure platforms that make cybersecurity education hands-on
and accessible.
I created DeepGuard — a novel AI model for detecting real vs.
AI-generated media, and CyberRange.world — a full-scale
virtualisation lab platform now actively used by multiple universities for daily
cybersecurity lab sessions and training exercises.
